We need to hear from you!

Most businesses in Multnomah County are smokefree. The Multnomah County Law became effective July 1, 2000.

When we receive a complaint, we will send a packet of educational materials to the facility describing the complaint and explaining how to comply with the law. A second complaint will be investigated and a remediation plan will be created. If the remediation plan is not completed or if there are additional complaints, we will investigate the facility and may issue fines.

Complainants' contact information is kept strictly confidential.
